You can return any item within 30 days of purchase if the item is unused with the original tags and hygiene label still attached.

Sale items and items purchased online during a promotional event are only eligible to return for an exchange or store credit.

Items advertised as "Final Sale - No Returns or Exchanges" cannot be returned or exchanged for a store credit.

In-store purchase at our AVALON store

Items purchased at our Avalon store must be returned to our Avalon store. We offer 30 day returns for exchange or a credit provided the item is unused with the original tags and hygiene label still attached along with proof of purchase. Please choose carefully as refunds are not provided for in-store purchases.

In the interests of hygiene we may refuse return of items where they do not meet these conditions.

Sale items and items purchased in-store during a promotional event are only eligible to return for an exchange or store credit.

Visit your account to get started.

Package your return

Package your return in a delivery satchel making sure you remove any old labels. We encourage you to re-use our comPOST satchel your order arrived in. Then attach a new shipping label with our returns address.

You will be required to pay for your return shipping costs if you decide to return your order.

Post your parcel

Lodge your parcel at the nearest Post Office or with your carrier of choice.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service as Monte & Lou take no responsibility in tracking your return.


Monte & Lou is dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. All of our styles are manufactured with care and are inspected before being shipped to ensure the highest quality garments are being sent to you.

If you are not 100% happy with your online purchase, you can return it within 30 days of purchase for exchange or refund.

All items must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed and with hygiene liners and original tags attached. Please take care when trying on swimwear and wear undergarments at all times. Monte & Lou will provide exchange where available, if the size or style is not available you will be given a full refund.

We understand that choosing the right size can be difficult. Please check our Sizing Guide to help you purchase the correct size.

We use the best fabrics and dyes possible, however some garments are made from delicate materials which will experience wear and tear over a period of time. Monte & Lou reserves the right to repair or replace your garment.  We cannot accept liability for pilling/pulling of fabric, fabric deterioration including loss of elasticity, colour running or fading.
Please follow our Care Instructions to ensure that you get the most out of your swimwear.

In the unlikely event your swimwear is faulty, please contact us via our Returns Portal.

Our policies relate to products purchased from our online store. Any item purchased elsewhere must be returned to the store of purchase, including faulty returns.

Monte & Lou does not cover customs duties or charges, which may apply depending on your country.
